As we expand into the Chinese market, we need someone to lead our licensing efforts and build strong partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Market Strategy Development: Create and execute strategies specifically tailored for licensing creators’ content in the Chinese market;
• Research & Propose Content: Independently engage in thorough research to identify potential video content for licensing;
• Outreach and Negotiation: Reach out to approved licensing companies and/or creators to negotiate agreements;
• Contract Review and Compliance: Ensure contracts align with company policies and legal standards relevant to the Chinese market;
• Communication: Maintain clear and culturally sensitive communication with creators and licensing companies;
• Market Trends Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and legal changes related to content licensing in China.

Requirements:

• Market Experience: Proven track record in licensing and management, particularly in the Chinese market;
• Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of the cultural nuances and business practices;
• Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating contracts with a solid understanding of legal terms relevant to the Chinese and Indian markets;
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin, intermediate in English, or other relevant languages for Chinese market communication.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different regions and time zones;
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks efficiently.
